Kuo: Apple will release iPhone SE 2 in the first quarter of 2020

The smartphone will receive more productive hardware components compared to the iPhone SE. The analyst says that the future smartphone will receive an iPhone 8 case, as well as an Apple A13 processor and 3 GB of RAM. Most of the specifications of the devices will be similar to the parameters of the iPhone 8. The analyst predicts that by the end of 2020, Apple will be able to sell from 30 to 40 million units of iPhone SE 2.

Kuo does not predict the exact cost of the future smartphone, but it can be assumed that it will not be lower than the cost of the iPhone 8. Before the manufacturer discontinued the 4-inch iPhone SE, it cost 349 for the version with 32 GB of memory. As for the 4.7-inch iPhone 8, the current version of this smartphone with a 64 GB drive costs 449. Presumably, when Apple launches the iPhone SE 2, sales of the iPhone 8 will be completely discontinued. Given the current cost of the iPhone 8, we can assume that the price of the new iPhone SE 2 with 32 GB of memory will range from 349 to 399.

According to the analyst, iPhone SE 2 will be primarily aimed at users of iPhone 6. It is noteworthy that iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus do not support the installation of the latest version of iOS 13. This may be another factor that will prompt users of these devices to buy iPhone SE . In addition, the device may be of interest to people who love small smartphones and want to use the modern features implemented in the new iPhone.
