PSE offers CSSC for aspiring stockbrokers and finance professionals

THE Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE), in partnership with the School of Professional and Continuing Education (SPaCE) at De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde (DLS-CSB), is still accepting applications for the Certified Securities Specialist Course ( CSSC), starting June 4.

The 124-hour program is ideal for aspiring stockbrokers and individuals who wish to pursue a path in the finance or capital markets industry to equip themselves with the basic knowledge of equity investing and the stock market. stocks, in order to improve their skills in investment, negotiation and analysis.

Created in 2007 by the PSE, and carried out in collaboration with the largest

educational institutions in the country, the CSSC has produced over 700 graduates, many of whom had pursued and excelled in their respective careers in the Philippine securities market.

The course is divided into 23 sessions, with comprehensive lectures on fundamental knowledge on the real applications of the various principles of finance. Topics covered include capital markets, fundamental analysis, fixed income, bond market, technical analysis, valuation techniques, portfolio management, securities regulation, market dynamics , financial statements, quantitative methods of finance and macroeconomics.

Courses will include webinars, industry updates and informative lectures to elaborate on recent industry developments.

The CSSC will organize a review session and a mock exam before the final comprehensive exam.
